Early-access terms

Simple terms for a product that's still being built.

Last updated

These are simple terms for TruApply’s early access. They’re basic on purpose: plain language for an early-stage product, written by the founder rather than a lawyer. Fuller terms will replace them before TruApply leaves early access, and you’ll hear about it first.

Early access

  • Early access is free and by invite from the waitlist.
  • TruApply is still being built. Features can change, move or be removed, and there may be bugs or downtime.
  • Invites go out as spots open, so joining the waitlist doesn’t guarantee a spot by a particular date.

Your content

  • Your resume, facts and documents stay yours.
  • By uploading them, you let TruApply process them only to provide the service to you, including sending the text needed to the AI services it uses.
  • Only upload information that’s yours to share.

Using TruApply fairly

  • Use it for your own job search, within the law.
  • Don’t try to break, overload or get around the service’s limits or security.
  • Don’t resell access or use TruApply to build a competing product.

What TruApply can and can’t promise

  • TruApply builds documents only from facts you’ve checked, and checks that nothing was added. AI can still make mistakes, so read every document before you send it. What you send is your responsibility.
  • TruApply can’t promise interviews, offers or any particular result.
  • The service is provided as it is during early access, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. TruApply isn’t liable for indirect losses, such as lost opportunities, that come from using it.

Ending things

  • You can stop using TruApply at any time and ask for your data to be deleted, as the privacy policy explains.
  • Access can be paused or ended if these terms are broken, or if early access closes. If it closes, you’ll get notice and a chance to download your documents first.

Changes and contact

When these terms change, the date at the top changes too, and changes that matter are emailed to you. Questions go to neeraj@neerajpal.dev.
